6th Graders are doing a great job adjusting to middle school life and culture. I can be a jump, and I do not want anyone to worry that they are doing anything wrong or that it is not perfect. It won't be perfect and you will get more accurate with following the rules and procedures as well as getting your work done closer and closer to on time. Don't stress, we will get there together!
7th Graders are moving along very strong. Our very own 4th period drawing class made the grade by completing 100% of one of their Classwork Assignments. I love seeing the competitive they have which seems to be fueling their ambitions to come out on top as leaders in the school. Great Job!
8th Graders are working strong to catch up on new things. This fall semester I have a very cool group of 8th graders who have never taken art before and are taking their first Drawing Class. They are doing well to adjust to the style of the work they are doing in the art classroom. Each is doing their job to be 8th graders, leaders of the pack, and learn a lot while doing it.
One Thing To Note: If your child is using G-Classroom on their personal device such as a tablet or smartphone, and they cannot open the Google Doc attached to the assignment... it is because the device is looking for the Google Docs app to open it with. Please advise and/or assist your child with downloading and installing the Google docs app on their device. Some devices come standard with the app, but some older ones do not. If their device is still not functioning properly, have them complete the work on a laptop or pc using an internet browser such as Chrome or Firefox.
